Plaza Latina isn’t just a place to shop — it’s where our community gathers, culture thrives, and everyone who walks through our doors feels right at home.
Year the building first opened its doors
Founded as a community bazaar under current ownership
Fully renovated, brand new from the inside out
Our story began in 2014, when a vision took shape: a gathering place created with the Latino community at heart. Operating as a vibrant bazaar, Plaza Latina quickly became a destination where local entrepreneurs could grow their dreams and neighbors could find the products and flavors of home.
In 2014, the plaza was purchased by its current owners with a renewed commitment — to deepen its roots, expand its offerings, and build something that would endure for generations. Housed in a historic building that has stood since 1959, Plaza Latina carries decades of history while always looking forward.
In 2026, that vision became reality. After a complete renovation, Plaza Latina reopened as a fully transformed space — brand new from the inside out, while honoring the community roots that have defined it from the very beginning.

To celebrate Latin culture, support local businesses, and create a place where our community connects, shops and thrives.

To be the Heart of Dallas' Latin community — a destination for culture, shopping, dining, entertainment and opportunity.
We’re not just a shopping destination. We’re a community institution — a place where vendors are neighbors, shoppers are family, and every visit feels like coming home.

Every decision we make puts our vendors and neighbors at the center.

Our vendors are the lifeblood of the plaza — we help them grow.

We celebrate Latino culture, heritage, and entrepreneurship every day.

Whether you’re shopping, selling, or just stopping by — you’re welcome here.
